Just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone that has been buying my baked goods and treats from the Aroma Cafe! You aren't supporting one but two businesses when you do so 🥰 
Watch for the posts this week to see what I'll be making. 
There will be chocolate peanut butter cake, possibly Dubai pistachio cake, fruit pizza 👀, dessert cups (yes Dubai ones too), and dare I say Dubai and Cosmic brownies.

Beyond the Dirt, Gravel Bike Race Results  

Here are a few photos from today's gravel bike race, Project Pedal, held in Cameron County. 
 I am not sure how many were in this race, but I spoke to participants that were local, and those that traveled from Rapid City, South Dakota and Montreal, Canada! 
Congratulations to all the participants that traveled to Cameron County for this race! 
 Overall Men's Open 29 Mile 
 1st Place - Alex Reed 
 2nd Place - Leroy Glick
 3rd Place - Alvin Vollmer 

 1st place in Women's 60 plus, Linda Rowles and Jeff, founder of Project Pedal.

Welcome to Cameron County! 

Join us for an unforgettable gravel cycling event starting in downtown Emporium, PA.
 Choose from four different course lengths and enjoy the beautiful area and vistas it has to offer. 
Course terrain includes packed limestone, dirt forest access roads, and double track. 
Expect loose gravel in some areas. All skill levels are welcome and have been kept in mind for course design. You're also invited to camp the night before and day of to extend your stay! 
Tent camping at the WCRT Trail parking area and RV parking/Van/Car overnight at designated parking lot areas. The 90 mile starts at 8am, 56 mile @ 9am, 29 mile @ 9:30am, and 14 mile fun ride @ 10am.
 All routes start and end at the West Creek Rec Trail Parking area located in the center of town. 
 Beyond The Dirt is PA wilds gravel cycling event presented by Project Pedal that takes place in Emporium, PA. Our goal is to show you around the PA Wilds and bring you something this area holds as a small secret.  This weekend Highlights @ St. Mark:
 - Msgr. Charles Kaza will be available at 3:15 PM for Confession on Sat. Aug. 9th. 
 He will also be the presider at the 4:00 PM Mass @ St. Mark. 
- Fr. Paul will be saying Mass @ St. James, Driftwood on Sat. Aug. 9th at 5:30 PM and at St. Mark Emporium, Sun. Aug. 10th @ 9:00 AM.
 - There's a 11:00 AM Community Service for all faiths at the Town Square Downtown Emporium.

 The Cameron County Little League field will be closed to the public until maintenance on our field is finished. The batting cages by the senior field are open.
