Environmental Education Programs for the weekend of May 18 th
Program Title: Wildflower Walk with Dawn
Date: Saturday, May 18 th
Time: 3:00 – 4:30 PM
Location: Environmental Learning Center
Description: Join the park educator and State Park Volunteer, Dawn Bristol, as we
explore the park in search of blooming wildflowers! Short talk followed by a walk
through the park to see what we can find. Field guides will be available for use,
feel free to bring a water bottle, and comfy shoes are advised.
Program Title: Cavity Nester Trail Info

Date: Saturday, May 18 th
Time: 6:00 – 7:00 PM
Location: Environmental Learning Center
Description: Sizerville State Park is going to start a cavity nester trail! The park
educator is looking for volunteers to help monitor the boxes and be apart of this
team to get this up and running! If this sounds interesting to you, then come out
to this program to learn more about what will be taking place and what will be
expected. If you love birds and being outside, then come see what this is all
about! Snacks and light refreshments will be available as well.
Additional Information:
In case of thunder, lightning, or extreme weather conditions programs may be moved or
cancelled.

With a minimum of one week notice, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing
are available for educational programs.
