Clara Mae Lathrop, 86, of Crosby, PA passed away Sunday (May 19, 2024) at UPMC-Cole, Coudersport.
She was born October 6, 1937 in Fisher, PA, the daughter of Charles and Jane (Klingensmith) Jones.
Clara was a mold operator working at Pennsylvania Pressed Metal, then GKN of Emporium, PA.
She was a member of the Norwich Twp. Fire Department, the American Legion Auxiliary, John Berg Post #976 of Crosby, and the Crosby United Methodist Church.
She is survived by:
One daughter: Sally A. Bennett of Crosby, PA
Three sons: John B. (Cindy) Lathrop of Smethport, Joseph L. (Debra) Lathrop of West VA, and Charles A. (Gail) Lathrop of Crosby
nine grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren
Two brothers: Kenneth G. Bailey, Jr. of Emporium, and James E. Bailey of Kane
three sisters: Leona Reed of Emporium, Jane Diehl of Emporium, and Linda Bennett of Bradford
And many nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
In keeping with Clara’s wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be in Norwich Cemetery, Norwich Twp.
