Thursday, May 30th until Saturday, June 1st!
Books of all genres will be available for purchase. There'll also be CDs, DVDs, puzzles and audiobooks on sale as well. Just as a reminder, all sales are by donation only! Just look for the boxes marked "Donate Here" at the book sale. Books will be available for sale both in the library multipurpose room and outside the library front entrance.

Major Thomas E. Clark Scholarship Benefit 2024
A benefit for the Major Thomas E. Clark Scholarship fund will be held on Friday, May 24th at Rich Valley Wines from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. We plan to have a 50-50 raffle and a silent auction. Refreshments will be served. No cover charges. The Major Thomas E. Clark scholarship is awarded to a Cameron County High School graduate annually.

Cameron County Farmers Market
Stop by your local farmers market this Saturday, May 25, 9am to 12pm at the Emporium Town Square to support our hardworking vendors, pick up some goodies and learn more about how to be a successful gardener!
Resident expert gardener, Josh Zucal will be giving a series of informative talks on various subjects with the chance to get your hands in the dirt to do some planting while you listen and learn. Begins @ 9:30 am.

KIDS FISHING DERBY, MAY 25, 2024
Held at the May Hollow Sportsmen’s Club, Sterling Run, PA.
Check in at registration starts at 9am and fishing begins at 10am, ending at 12noon.
Ages for the event are up to and including 12 years.

Hours are 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Beginning May 29, the Little Museum will be open Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, until mid-October.

The Sizerville State Park swimming pool will be opening normal hours, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, for Memorial Day weekend Saturday, May 25 – Monday, May 27.
With school still in session, we will be closed due to staffing from May 28-30.
Beginning Friday, May 31 we will be open daily 11AM to 7PM, weather permitting.

Fish for Free day of the year this Sunday, May 26!
On this day, anyone (resident or non-resident) can legally fish on all Pennsylvania waterways.
No license is required, but all other fishing regulations apply.
This is the first of two dates set by the PFBC to enhance fishing opportunities.
The next day is Independence Day, Thursday, July 4.

Clark-Cunningham-Eaton-Schager-Straub Family Reunion 2024
The reunion will be held Sunday, May 26th at Sizerville State Park. We will gather at Pavillion #1 (near the pool) starting at 12 noon. Please bring a dish to pass. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and drinks will be provided. We plan to eat around 1 pm. Please RSVP to June at 814-289-3370.

VFW Memorial Day Parade
Monday, May 27 @ 10 am
The parade starts in the parking lot of the Emporium Food Mart.
Parade line up begins @ 9:15.
The parade will travel to the Big Flag park at the west end of town where the ceremonies will take place.
A luncheon will follow at the VFW club for all participant's and their families.
