Whiting Announces Bid for Borough Tax Collector

Republican candidate, Kim Whiting, would like to announce her intent to run for office of Emporium Borough Tax Collector.

“Having been a lifelong resident of Cameron County and working in the financial industry for the past 23 years, along with holding the elected position of County Auditor for several terms, I feel I am a well-qualified candidate to hold office of the Emporium Borough Tax Collector” she said. In addition to her extensive work experience, Kim is very involved within the community and has the pleasure of severing on; the Cameron County Industrial Development Authority Board of Directors, Vice President of the Executive Board of Directors for the Cameron County Chamber of Commerce, the North Central Regional Loan Review Committee, Cameron County Industrial Planning Corp. and the Citizens and Northern Bank Advisory Board. She is also an active member of the Emporium Rotary Club & St. Mark Catholic Church.

Ms. Whiting, along with her two children Breanna & Jared, have been a part of the Emporium Borough Community for the past 19 years. “It would give me great pleasure to be of service to my fellow community members as your tax collector. Your vote would be greatly appreciated. “
