On Feb. 14, 2019 Emporiums grocery store will officially be known as the Emporium Foodmart.
This grocery store, founded by the Olivett family, has been known as Joe's, Olivetts and more recently the Shurfine Food Mart - owned by the Olean Wholesale Grocery Cooperative, Inc. based in Olean, NY. On December 6, 2018, C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc. announced it signed an agreement to acquire the Olean Wholesale Grocery Cooperative, Inc which includes our local store. C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc. also own stores in Ridgway and Johnsonburg.
