Weekend in the Wilds Friday July 5 and Saturday July 6
continues to expand. Organizers want to
add an area that features farmers products.
“The chamber has tried unsuccessfully for several years to bring a
cohesive farmers market to the region,” says Cameron County Chamber of Commerce
Executive Director, Tina Johns Solak.
“Many vendors set up at various places throughout Emporium, but it would
be beneficial to residents and the sellers if they were in one location.” This year free space has been set aside for
sellers and Johns Solak hopes that will prove the benefits to those selling
items.
Maple and honey producers are on the want list along with
food growers, and flowers. Anyone
interested in taking advantage of the offer should contact the chamber at
814-486-4314.
