St
Marks Catholic Church O’Connell Hall was packed with music lovers Sunday May 5
as the crowd celebrated Cinco de Mayo with musicians from across the
region. Father Paul Seibert was joined
on stage by musicians from St Marys, Emporium, Titusville and Oil City.
Those
attending shook maracas and tapped their toes to songs from the 40’s to the
70’s. Old Time Rock n Roll, Good Lovin,
and With a Little Help From My Friends were the fans favorites. Dave Foote from St Marys provided quips and
the beat, while the Feroz brothers played a myriad of instruments. Ed Badeau plucked the bass, Ron Tusing
tickled the ivories and Howard Foster made the saxophone wail.
The
group has been asked to perform during Weekend in the Wilds in July. At this time no future performance dates have
been announced.
