Rotary Club of Emporium
Have you heard our name or seen us around town and thought "what is Rotary anyway?"
Often times that is the first question we are asked when we tell people we are Rotarians. We strive to apply Rotary's motto "Service Above Self" in our daily lives.
Locally, we raise money to give back to the community in the form of donations, grants, scholarships, and more. We also provide manpower and volunteers for community projects such as loading boxes at the food pantry every month, helping at the canoe race, planting flowers at the Manor, cleaning up the Little League fields and so much more!
We are also part of Rotary International. This means that we also help support international projects such as the fight to eradicate Polio globally and provide Shelter Boxes (a box with a tent and basic necessities) to people affected by natural disasters around the world and more.
Anyone is welcome to stop by our weekly meetings to see what we are all about!
We meet Tuesdays at noon at the Endless Mountains Methodist Church at 306 S Spruce St.
At most meetings, we have a local community member come as a guest speaker to tell about their job, project, talent, ideas, and more.
If you are interested in visiting, becoming a member, or being a guest speaker, you can contact any Rotarian or our current Membership Chair, Emily Costanzo for more information.
