John Hosbach and crew
This past spring three Welcome to Driftwood signs were installed alongside Rt. 120 East & West and Rt 155 entering the Driftwood Borough area. The signs are there to provide people with a welcoming visual impression of Driftwood from all directions.
Local resident Randy Bailey has been hard at work on this project and it is now complete. This past weekend, the project received a generous donation from Mr John Hosbach Jr from Ridley Park Pa. Mr. Hosbach has a camp on Mix Run road and loves this area. This area has given him so much enjoyment over the years, he wanted to give something back in appreciation. Seven people planted 40 or more plantings and supplied the mulch to complete the landscaping around all three of the Welcome to Driftwood signs.
Funding was secured from the Driftwood Borough, the Sylvan Heritage Council, the Cameron County Commissioners and Randy Bailey. Sign design was by Action Graphics. Matt Andrews donated topsoil and cut stone while J & J service helped with sign installation.
They are a beautiful addition to the Driftwood area!
