Cameron County Historical Society is hosting a Historic Walk through Saint Marks Cemetery on October 5th at 10 am. Wendy Davis will guide the walk through the grounds to tell stories of some of the heros, historic lives, and amazing people of Cameron County. The event will last about 1 hour and should be an easy walk. There will be some uneven, grassy terrain so appropriate walking shoes should be worn. The lives of many interesting people will be showcased and walkers will have the opportunity to tell some of their own stories.
This no-cost hike is sponsored by Cameron County Historical Society and is open to the public. We graciously accept donations to help support Historical Society expenses, if desired.
