Juanita Ruth (Quarles), 82 of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away Thursday December 20, 2018. Widow of James E. McDowell. Born July 17, 1936 to the late Gilford and Mary Ethel Quarles in Tuscaloosa Alabama. She graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1957 with a degree in Mathematics.
She married James McDowell of Emporium, PA in November 1957. Together they had 6 loving children. They lived in Malvern, PA for 39 years. James passed away in 1992. Since then, Juanita resided in Middletown, PA, Whitehall, PA and more recently in Cincinnati, OH. Juanita (Nita) was loved by everyone for her faith, kindness, and sense of humor
Loving mother of –Robert and Jayne (Stein) McDowell of Waukesha, WI; Karen Margaret McDowell of Cincinnati, OH; Richard and Stacy (Blum) McDowell of Bethlehem, PA; Raymond and Sharon (Uhle) McDowell of Clarksville, MD, Ronald and Jennifer (Peavey) McDowell of Doylestown, PA; and Randal and Lori (Boatright) McDowell of Orlando, FL.
Grandmother of – Joshua, Matthew, Justin, Rory, Nathanael, Jaleah, Gabriel, Grace, Kara, Abby, Ben, Ian, Madeleine, Elias, Emmie, and Rubianne McDowell.
Sister of – Mary Ann Lombardozzi of Middletown, DE and Ellen Walker of Milton, DE.
A Private graveside service will be held in Porage Township Cemetery on Saturday, December 29, 2018. A memorial service is planned for February 2, 2019 at Grace Crossing church in Phoenixville, PA for extended family and friends.
