Elouise M. Haynes, 92, of 538 E. Second St., Emporium, PA died at Penn Highlands-Elk, St. Marys, PA on Wednesday (January 24, 2018) morning.
She was born July 25, 1925 in Hollidaysburg, PA a daughter of the late Albert J. and Alverna Bolman Heeter.
She married the late Norman Haynes. Elouise graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in the class of 1943. She retired from Sylvania in 1981 after over 31 years of employment. She was a member of the Keating Summit United Methodist Church, a fifty year member of the Order of Eastern Star, Past Worthy Matron and received the Grand Cross of Colors for Rainbow Girls and was a thirty-five year member of the Oden Grange. Elouise enjoyed golf, knitting and traveling.
Survived by a daughter, Connie (Bruno) Kujat, Naples, FL; step-daughter, Regina (Terry) Gustin; one grandson Sam A. Miller, several step grandchildren, several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband she he was preceded in death by a step-son, Albert Haynes; step daughter, Carol Haynes; brother, Curtis E. Heeter and two sisters, Larue Wooleslagle & June Meyers.
The family will receive friends at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. 4th St., Emporium, PA on Monday from 9:00 -11:00 AM followed by a service with Steven D. Small, Pastor, Keating Summit United Methodist Church, officiating
Burial will be in the Alto Reste Park, Altoona, PA.
