Get Ready for a Frightfully Fun Halloween at the Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial
Library!
The Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial Library is conjuring up a spooky
evening of Halloween magic, and YOU are invited! Join us on Thursday, October 24, for an
evening filled with thrills, chills, and creative spills at our Halloween Spooky Story Hour &
Pumpkin Painting! The fun begins at 5:00 p.m.—but beware, you’ll want to stay until the last
spooky tale is told (if you’re brave enough)!
The festivities kick off with some frightfully fun pumpkin painting, led by the amazing Ms.
Dannielle from Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services (ADAS). Let your spooky imagination run wild
as you paint pumpkins with ghoulish grins, haunted designs, or whatever Halloween magic you
dream up.
But that’s just the beginning! As the moon rises higher, Ms. Yelena will take the stage to weave
spooky stories guaranteed to send shivers down your spine. And here’s the twist: with each
passing story, things will get a little scarier… and scarier. Will you stay for the whole hour of
spine-tingling tales? Only the bravest souls will make it to the end!
This FREE event is open to all ages, so bring your little goblins, ghosts, and ghouls for a night
they won’t forget. And don’t worry—it’s all in good fun (with just a few chills for extra
excitement).
Register today by selecting “going” on our Facebook Event page, or call the library
at 814-486-8011 so we can make sure we bring enough pumpkins for everyone!
