Cameron County Farmers Market
Our first market day is coming up next weekend, Saturday 13 May, and we hope you are all getting as excited as we are!
Joining us for our inaugural market this year is the super creative Melissa Grimes. Melissa was part of the markets last year and impressed all of us with her crafting talents. Although her main craft is crocheting, she also knits, sews and quilts, combining these skills to create some really fun dolls, clothes, bags and tea towels.
This year she is focusing on the kids and has made a super fun series of dolls, featuring everything from lions and monkeys to dinosaurs and pigs. They are absolutely adorable and any young one in your life would be thrilled to be gifted one of these treasures! The skill, imagination and love that Melissa brings to each piece she creates is truly inspiring.
Among other things, this year Melissa will also be offering some fun tea towels, designed to brighten up any kitchen. New items will be added as the summer rolls on so make sure to pop by and see what fun new ideas she has come up with! We will be opening 9am to 12pm, Saturday May 13th at the Emporium Town Square.
Welcome back to the market, Melissa!
