David Alan “Woody” Woodring, age 54, of Emporium, died unexpectedly, at home, on September 9, 2022. A son of Rexford and Carol (McCluskey) Woodring of Emporium, he was born on February 7, 1968 in DuBois, PA. On June 17, 2000 he married Gina (Petrini) who survives at home.
Along with his parents and his wife, Woody is survived by: a daughter, Santana (Max) Morrow of Pittsburgh; two step-sons, Matthew (Jasmin) Perry of Princeton, IN and Daniel (Heather) Perry of St. Marys; three grandchildren, Samuel, Nicholas and Finn; and two sisters, Libby Kear of Weedville and Rebecca Seaton of Louisville, KY.
Woody was predeceased by: a brother, Jeffrey Todd Woodring.
Woody graduated from St. Marys High School and worked many years as a Saw Mill General Manager. Most recently he has worked as a Photographer, from which he has won many awards and has opened a studio in Emporium. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and proud member of “The Animals” Motorcycle Club. He was raised in Bennetts Valley, lived in multiple states and returned to Bennetts Valley and Emporium Areas in 2019.
Public Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield, PA.
Funeral Services will be held, 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield with Reverend Don Smith.
