I had the opportunity to join members of the Cameron and Potter County Conservation Districts for a tour of several of their projects. We visited an acid mine drainage treatment project at Sterling Run and a streambank stabilization project along the Driftwood Branch of Sinnemahoning Creek in Cameron County. In Potter County we visited several locations along South Woods Road in Sylvania and Homer Townships where streambank and roadway improvements were made with funding from the state’s dirt and gravel roads program. Thank you to our county conservation districts for all your hard work!
