Financial Aid Night
CCHS Class of 2021
Cameron County High School announces that VIRTUAL Financial Aid Night presentations will be held during the following dates and times:
Saturday, November 7, 2020 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Monday, November 9, 2020 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Tuesday, November 10, 2020 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
These presentations will be held via Zoom meetings. The links to register for each specific Zoom meeting is posted under the “Announcement” section of the District website.
Families and students can simply choose a date, click on the day (each has a specific link), and complete the registration. It is important to note that families should have Zoom downloaded to their computer prior to the date they choose to avoid technical complications.
A financial aid representative from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will present how to complete the FASFA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), types of financial aid, comparing multiple aid offers, state grants, and much more.
Although families will not be completing the FAFSA during this presentation, staff at UPB have put together a comprehensive PowerPoint slide show with live financial aid counselors available during the presentation. Each presentation will be between 45 minutes and an hour with a question and answer session at the end. A recording of the presentation will be available on the UPB website along with answers to frequently asked questions after the final presentation date.
All seniors and their parents are encouraged to attend.
