Delores "Dottie" A. (Foster) Nauss, Austin, PA, and formerly of Harrisburg, PA, passed away at UPMC Williamsport on Sept. 25, 2020, at age 79. Dottie was born in Elmira, NY, on Feb. 7, 1941, and retired from PMA Insurance.
Dottie is survived by her husband of 60 years, Elwood
“Woody” Nauss; daughter, Jennifer Nauss; brother,
Harry Foster, Jr.; sister, Gloria (Foster) Powell; granddaughters, Rhiannon (Little) Fendrich (husband, Andy)
and Savannah Little Bellem (husband, Jon); four greatgrandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other
relatives; and SIX cats.
Dottie was born in Elmira, NY, on February 7, 1941. While Cameron and Potter Counties was the Foster home base, Dottie lived throughout PA due to her father’s work, including a stop in Harrisburg when she was 16 where she met Woody. No matter where she lived, her escape was always “the mountains.” After retiring from PMA Insurance, Dottie permanently escaped to the Logue Family Farm, aka Camp Two Old Broads (C2OB), in Grove Township, Cameron County.

Dottie is predeceased by her parents, Harry and Twila (Logue) Foster; children, Susan, Robert, and Jeannette; and sisters, Joyce (Foster) Burczynski and Beverly (Foster) Fretz.
Dottie's graveside service will be held at Gilmore Cemetery, 1st Fork Rd., Sinnemahoning, PA, on Sun., Oct. 4, at 12 p.m., followed by picnic style lunch at the "Logue Family Farm" which will inlcude Diet Coke.
