Tuesday, April 10th— Humor Day—Bring your smile, laugh, favorite joke, funny face, etc.

Wednesday, April 11th— Water Program @9am with Donna Thomas from Cole!

Friday, April 13th— National Scrabble Day—Mini Tournament after Lunch! If you have never played, it’s a great time to come and try it out!

Sunday, April 15th— Open Mic Chili Cook Off @1-4pm! Come listen to good music and try all the varieties of Chili for only $3!

Tuesday, April 17th —Community Nurse Day! FREE Blood Pressure/Blood Sugar Screenings from 11-11:30am with a short program about Sleep following.

Wednesday, April 18th—Supper Club at 5pm!

Thursday, April 19th— Seniors for Safe Driving Class @9am!

Open Mic Chili Cook Off “The Emporium Senior Center is hosting an “Open Mic Chili Cook Off” on Sunday, April 15th from 1-4pm. For only $3, come try all of the Chili varieties and vote for your favorite! There is still time to sign up, if you would like to enter the competition with your best pot of Chili or if you are interested in singing or playing an instrument, just give the center a call at 814-486-3707! Mark us on your calendars for April 15th and we will hope to see you there! All proceeds support your local senior center!”

Safe Driving Course The Emporium Senior Center will be holding a Seniors for Safe Driving Course on Thursday, April 19th. The cost for the class is $15/AARP Members or $20/Non-Members. The class enables you to receive up to 5% off of your insurance payments for 3 years—Check with your insurance company to see if there are any special stipulations. If you are interested in taking part in this class, please call the senior center at 814-486-3707.
