Rotarian, Pat Martin (left), introduced guest speakers, Ed Pitchford, President & CEO of Cole Hospital, along with Kari Kurtz, Community Outreach Coordinator, at the March 6th Rotary luncheon meeting. Mr. Pitchford’s topic was the recent merger of Cole Hospital and UPMC. As of March 1, 2018 the hospital will now be known as UPMC-Cole, retaining a local Board of Directors and will retain the current medical staff. UPMC owns 30 hospitals and has 80,800 employees.
