Dorothy L. Grovanz Brown, 91, of Maple Street Apartments, 40 W. 5th St., Emporium, PA died at her residence, Emporium, PA on Thursday (August 24, 2017) morning.
She was born December 16, 1925 in Sinnamahoning, PA a daughter of the late Norman and Mildred Snyder Potts.
Dorothy had worked years ago at Cameron Manufacturing for several years. She enjoyed cooking and was a very good cook who could turn anything into a good meal.
Survived by one daughter, Linda (Dwight) Stuart, and a son, James Grovanz, both of Emporium; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; one sister, Norma Ellinger, Emporium; and a brother, Mearl Pitts, Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Mildred Potts; husband, James M. Grovanz, brother, Earl Pitts, sister, Mary Royer.
At her request there will be No Visitation and Services will be Private
Burial will be in the Gilmore Cemetery, Austin, PA
