Firequacker Duck Derby Blasts Off
The Firequacker Duck Derby held on the First Fork during Sinnemahoning State Park Festival drew a crowd who cheered on more than 500 ducks as they paddled down the stream toward the finish line.
The winning duck was adopted by Lloyd Whitcomb, second place belonged to Jean Diamond and the third duck swimming across the finish line belonged to Steve Vaneerden. All the ducks were each adopted from Olivetts Shur Fine.
The funds raised are matched dollar for dollar by Seneca Resources. All the funds benefit the yearly fireworks set to blast off from the Cameron County Football Field Saturday July 2.
