Eleanor M. Umbenhauer, 85, of 110 E. 4th St., Emporium, PA formerly
of Medix Run, PA died at Penn Highlands Elk, St. Marys, PA Tuesday
(October 14, 2014) afternoon.
She was born November 24, 1928 in Medix Run, PA a daughter of the late
Ernest and Harriet Boyce Crofutt
On August 3, 1963 she married the late James Umbenhauer
.
Mrs. Umbenhauer retired from Sylvania-GTE wher she worked for many
years. She was a member of the Republican Party, was an avid bowler and
golfer. Eleanor had been a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Emporium
County Club and the First Baptist Church.

Son: Richard "Rick" Kahnell and his wife Mary Jo, Emporium
Step-daughter: Mary Ann (Ben) Scott, Chandler, AZ
16 Grandchildren

Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. Fourth Street,
Emporium, PA on Thursday October 16, 2014 from 3-5 PM followed by
the Funeral Service at 5:00 PM with Rev. Andrew Johnson, Pastor, First
Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium, PA
