Small Business Opportunities and Resources Forum
Small businesses from a 16 county region can sell their goods and services to large organizations on Friday, March 7 at the Pitt-Johnstown campus. Brookville Equipment Corporation, Concurrent Technologies Corporation, Conemaugh Health System, and the Department of Energy, among others, will be on hand. Additionally, business support agencies will be present to answer questions and provide guidance. Quick hitting marketing tips and techniques from experts will round out the day. The counties covered are Armstrong, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, Fayette, Fulton, Huntington, Indiana, Jefferson, McKean, Potter, Somerset, and Westmoreland.
The four regional non-profit organizations that are the hosts are the Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs) from North Central PA Regional Planning and Development Commission, Southern Alleghenies Planning and Development Commission, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and Johnstown Area Regional Industries. PTACs are funded by the Defense Logistics Agency to help small companies do business with Federal, state, and local government agencies
