Susan V. Zito, 87, of 501 E. Second St., Emporium, died at her residence on Saturday morning.
She was born January 29, 1924 in Emporium a daughter of the late Anthony and Amelia Nicolo Zito.
Susan graduated from Emporium High School. She retired from GTE where she worked for many years. When she retired she was the only women to hold a patent at GTE Sylvania. Susan was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church.

Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-5 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium on Wednesday at 10:30 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.
Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
