On Jan. 4, Elk Regional welcomed the first baby born in its Family Unit in 2011.
Ella Mae Weisner is the daughter of Jessica and Richard Weisner of St. Marys. Dr. Stephen Koch delivered Ella Mae at 1:44 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2011. She weighed 6 lbs 5 ounces and was 21 inches long.
Ella Mae’s grandparents are Loretta Runser and John Runser and Ray and Vicky Young. Ella joins big sister Millie at home.
The family received a savings bond and stuffed bear from the ERHS Auxiliary, a gift certificate from the St. Marys Chamber of Commerce, two cases of diapers and a case of baby wipes from Elk Regional Health Center and a baby basket from the employees of the Family Unit.
