brief talk about Osprey in the First Fork Valley followed by a showing of the PBS Nature documentary
"Season of the Osprey"

9:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M -Kayak Nature Tour
Take a relaxing paddle out on the lake in search of
wildlife and recreation! Borrow the park’s kayaks and equipment or bring your own. Open to
participants aged 10 to adult. Group size is limited. Pre-registration is required.

8:30 P.M.-9:30 P.M -Owls of Pennsylvania - Whoooo is that hooting in the woods? Join a park
naturalist for a presentation on Pennsylvania's native owl species and find out. Parking is available for
the public at the amphitheater.

Sunday, May 25th, 2025
12:30 P.M.-2:30 P.M -Ride the Rail Trail
Enjoy a guided ride through the park on the Lowlands
Trail. Bring your own bike or check out one of the park’s loaner bikes. A park educator will lead the
trip. Pre-Registration is required if you plan to use one of the park's bikes.

Fish for Free Day
Want to give fishing a try? Stop by George B. Stevenson
Reservoir on Sunday May 25th and cast a line. It's Fish for Free Day, so no fishing license is
required. A park educator will be on hand to assist, and fishing rods, tackle and bait will be provided.
Stop by anytime between 2 PM and 5 PM.

Looking for a fun activity on Memorial Day Weekend? Come on
down to Sinnemahoning Park and play trivia. Find out who knows S'more about nature, history and
state parks! This program is open to all ages and is a great family activity. A prize will be awarded to
the winning team.

Pontoon Tours of the Stevenson Reservoir-Join park staff
for a relaxing and informative tour around the lake, as we cruise the shoreline of the George B.
Stevenson Reservoir in search of wildlife. Group size is limited. To reserve a seat, please pre-
register. Registration is not required but is strongly recommended.

Join a park educator for an investigation into what
creatures are living beneath the surface of First Fork Sinnemahoning Creek. Nets and equipment

Campground Movie: Charlie and the Curious Otters - Explore the exciting
otter family in this PBS film by Charlie Hamilton James. Take an in depth look at several species of
otters, including river otters, that are found right here at Sinnemahoning State Park.
