Sizerville State Park Environmental Education Programs for the 2024 Solar Eclipse 

Program Title: Prep for Eclipse

 Date: Friday, April 5 th 

Time: 4:30 – 5:30 PM 

Location: Environmental Learning Center 

Description: Join the park educator for a crash course on what an eclipse is, how to view it safely, and what to expect on April 8th. Short presentation followed by a Q&A session. 

Solar viewing glasses will be available while supplies last.

Program Title: Eclipse Watch 

Date: Monday, April 8 th 

Time: 2:00 – 4:00 PM 

Location: Pavilion 2

 Description: Want to see the eclipse right here in Sizerville State Park? Sizerville is in the 95-99% range of seeing a partial eclipse so stop by and join the park educator for a general info session as we view the 2024 solar eclipse! Solar viewing glasses will be available while supplies last. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Additional Information:

 In case of thunder, lightning, or extreme weather conditions programs may be moved or cancelled.
