Cameron County Conservation District
Do you own property along a stream?
Would you like to learn what you can do to improve habitat for trout and other fish species in your backyard stream?
Would you like to learn what you can do as a landower to manage your property in a stream-friendly way?
Do you want to learn more about conservation work in our local streams.
The Cameron County Conservation District will be hosting a Streamside Landowner Workshop on Wednesday, March 23, at 6:00 p.m. at the District's office at 74 East Third Street in Emporium.
The public is invited to come and learn the answers to these questions and what else they can do to protect our aquatic resources. The event is anticipated to last approximately 1 ½ hours.
A light refreshment will be provided.
For questions or to register, please call the District at 486-2244. Registration for the event is not required, but is encouraged.
Financial support for the workshop is being provided by the Pennsylvania Association of Conservation Districts through a grant from the PA Department of Environmental Protection under Section 319 of the Clean Water Act, administered by the US Environmental Protection Agency.
