Linda M. Baker, 74, of Goehring Lane, Evans City, PA and formerly of Cameron County, PA passed away at UPMC Passavant, Pittsburgh, PA on Tuesday morning (January 11, 2022). She was born March 13, 1947 in Marlinton, West Virginia a daughter of the late Jesse and Leeta Gay Baker.
She loved animals of all types, but especially her dogs and birds. She bred many exotic birds throughout the years and enjoyed placing them with the right owners who shared her love of aviculture. She also enjoyed crafting, gardening, and cake decorating. When she took on something she was all in and dedicated to learning as much as possible about the topic. Linda was an independent woman with an exuberant laugh and quick wit. She will be greatly missed by her family.
Linda is survived by a sister, Martha Kay (Don) Sherry, Keating Summit and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Franklin "Louie", Eugene "Beanie" and Jimmie Baker; three sisters, Betty Allman, Bonnie Riffle and Nancy Umbenhauer,
There will be No Visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service to be held at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. Fourth Street, Emporium, PA on Friday (January 14, 2022) at 12:00 PM with Mr. Robert Spaeth, officiating.
Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium, PA
