Julian J. Serianni, 90, of P.O. Box 5, Emporium, died Wednesday December 1, 2021 at Penn Highlands-Elk following a brief illness. He was born on July 5, 1931 in Johnsonburg a son to the late Frank and Maria Loprete Colosimo Serianni.
He had lived in Emporium most of his life. He was a 1949 graduate of Johnsnburg High School and received a BS in education from Lock Haven State College and received a Masters Degree in Science and Math from Penn State University. Upon finishing college he began as a teacher at Cameron County High School and went on to teach there for over 34 years retiring in 1993. While at the school he also served as the High School Athletic Director for many years.
Mr. Serianni is survived by a son Jon Serianni of Emporium.
Julian was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Joseph Serianni, Paolo Serianni, Serafino Colosimo and sisters Mary Villella, Frances Lupino and Margaret ""Rita"" Repko.
Funeral Services for Julian J. Serianni will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg.

So many years ago. Mr. Sirianni was my algebra teacher in the late 1950's. Remember him well and he was an inspiration in academic career.
