On Saturday, March 14, the library will operate with regular services and close to the public at the end of the day through Friday, March 27 or until otherwise notified that we can reopen.
We realize this is in contradiction with our post earlier today, and very short notice, but library staff only received the mandate to close after the end of the work day Friday.
It is important to note that there have been no documented reports of any patron or staff who have been exposed to COVID-19. However, the health and safety of our patrons is of the utmost importance.
During this time, the Library is relaxing our borrowing policy. All late fees will be suspended and due dates extended during this period. You will still be able to continue to enjoy items you have already borrowed. As always, we maintain a vast collection of digital materials free with any Cameron County library card, including eBooks and downloadable audiobooks; streaming TV and movies; magazines, music and more.
Library staff are monitoring news and updates provided by the CDC and the PA Department of Health related to the COVID-19 pandemic daily. As the situation, changes we will provide updates via our Facebook page. We encourage our patrons to share this post to better inform the community.
We appreciate your patience and feel free to reach out to us via Facebook with any questions or concerns during this confusing time.
