The Cameron County High School Career Fair will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2019 from 11:45-2:30 at the Cameron County HIgh School Gymnasium. Please register by February 21st.
This program is intended to bring awareness to students regarding what career opportunities exist and assist them in making informed choices when selecting a career and setting career goals. To also provide a networking opportunity for students to make connections with potential employers, mentors and peers.
Students in grades 7-12 will participate. Students will be provided an assignment while visiting vendors that day to meet their career exploration requirements. There is no cost to participate.
The fair will be set up in the gymnasium. This will be a typical career fair set up. Set up will begin at 11:45 and the last group will finish by 2:30. Light refreshments will be provided. Presenters are encouraged to bring visual displays and hands-on activities to promote student engagement.
