Penn Highlands Elk is pleased to welcome Amber Bowser, DO, to its medical staff. A family practice physician, Dr. Bowser sees patients at the Penn Highlands Family Medicine Office at 416 North Broad Street in Emporium.
In 2009, Dr. Bowser graduated from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie. She completed an internship and residency at Clarion Hospital. Dr. Bowser is a native of the Johnsonburg area and graduated from Johnsonburg Area School District in 2000. She lives there now with her husband and two children.
Dr. Bowser served as a Locum Tenens, providing urgent care for Med Express, a company based in Irving, Texas. She was previously employed by Kane Community Hospital.
She performs a full range of services, including well child check-ups and vaccinations, spinal manipulation, lesion removals, routine gynecological exams, and chronic disease management. She is accepting new patients into the practice.
