Centre County author, artist, biker, and “adventure eater” Ken Hull has spent years ridingm exploring and tasting his way across central Pennsylvania to find some of the coolest locally owned places for food, beer and coffee.
In his latest book, going LOCAL! Volume2: A Second Helping, Hull features the Aroma Café & Restaurant. He writes about owners Jill and Kirk Gibbs, quips that when he stopped in, Kirk was learning to get along “pretty well” in the kitchen and highlighted Open Mic Night, Friday Night Fish Fries and the Old Cats’ Coffee Club!
The book also talks about the scenic drives in Cameron County, and the fact that street parking is only 25 cents for two hours and that the county is free of food chains! Hull will make a return trip to the Aroma Café & Restaurant on Saturday July 2 during Weekend in the Wilds and ArtFest. He will have copies of his book available for purchase and will personalize the books.
