An Emporium driver was not injured on Monday when his 1999 Ford Ranger went off Route 120 in Shippen Township and hit a road sign and a utility pole.
Kevin S. Crum, 19, of Emporium, PA, was negotiating a left hand curve and lost control of his vehicle. The Ranger then traveled off the right side of the roadway striking a road sign and then a utility pole. He was wearing a seat belt.
Crum left the scene and phones police about 30 minutes later, prior to returning to the scene. Summary traffic citations have been filed through District Court 59-3-01.
His vehicle was towed by Ramsey's Garage.
