Celebrate the 4 th of July at Sinnemahoning State Park!

 Thursday, July 4 th , 2024 9:00 A.M.- 11:00 A.M. –Holiday Hike

Kick off your 4th of July holiday with a healthy morning hike on the Red Spruce & Low Lands Trail. The hike is approximately 2 miles and does traverse some areas of uneven ground. Meets at: 40 Maples Day Use Area Friday, 

July 5 th , 2024 11:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M -Kayak Nature Tour

Take a relaxing paddle out on the lake in search of wildlife and peaceful morning recreation! Borrow the park’s kayaks and equipment or bring your own. Open to participants age 10 to adult.  Friday, June 5 th , 2024 7:00 P.M.-7:45 P.M -Campground Movie: Celebrating PA’s Eagles

 Learn about the Pennsylvania Game Commissions efforts to restore Bald Eagle populations in the state through conservation and reintroduction. Meets at: Campground Amphitheater 

 Saturday, June 6 th , 2024 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M -Ride the Rail Trail

- Enjoy a guided ride through the park on the Lowlands Trail. Bring your own bike or check out one of the park’s loaner bikes. Pre-registration is required if you plan to use one of the park's bikes.  Saturday, June 6 th , 2024 3:30 P.M.-4:30 P.M -Insect Investigation

- Join a park naturalist in an investigation of the amazing diversity of insects found at Sinnemahoning. All tools to catch and study these small creatures will be provided. Meets at: The Wildlife Center

 Sunday, June 7 th , 2024 Pontoon Tours of the Stevenson Reservoir

 Join park staff for a fun and informative hour & fifteen- minute tour, as we cruise the shoreline of the George B. Stevenson Reservoir in search of wildlife. Group size is limited To reserve a seat, please pre-register. Pre-registration is not required but is strongly recommended. There is no fee for regular Sunday interpretive pontoon boat tours, but DONATIONS ARE REQUESTED.

10:30 A.M.-11:45 A.M. 
12:30 P.M.-1:45 P.M.
