Pamela M. Kautz, 73, of 215 E. 3rd St., Emporium, PA passed into eternal life at Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Emporium, PA on Monday evening (September 27, 2021) following a lengthy illness. She was born January 27, 1948 in St. Marys, PA a daughter of the late Wythe and Ruth Dinger McFeely. On March 16, 1968 in First Presbyterian Church, Emporium she married John Kautz, who survives.
She and her husband John were married over 53 years. Pam graduated from Cameron County High School in the class of 1965 and then attended Lock Haven University for two years. She was a loving, kind, caring, and compassionate wife, mom, and "Ma". She was a lifetime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Emporium where she had taught Sunday school and was known for her craft Sunday's. She always remained faithful to the Lord especially during her numerous health struggles. She was a life member of the Cameron County Historical Society, brownie and girl scout leader, dance mom, and driver and companion for her daughter Kathy during her schooling at Pitt-Bradford and Lock Haven University physician assistant education. She provided care for her parents and in-laws in their elder years and also for many pets. She was the smiling face at A. J. Kautz and Son for decades. She was known to hand out M & M's in envelopes for customers adult and children alike.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter, Kathy (Jeremiah) Fragale, Emporium; two grandchildren: Ruthie and J.J. Fragale; dear niece, Rachel (Bob) Bargebuhr; brother-in-law, Ed (Nancy) Kautz and family; sister-in-law, Carole (Tim) Grooms and family.
Pam was preceded in death by Parents, Wythe and Ruth Dinger McFeely; sister, Val Banks; father and mother-in-law, Bub and Lurline Kautz.
There will be No Visitation. Services will be held privately with the family at Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. Fourth Street, Emporium, PA.
Burial will be in the Gilmore Cemetery, Austin, PA
