Linda D. Cobb

Linda D. Cobb, age 64, of West Fifth Street, Emporium died Thursday, April 19, 2018, in her home.

Born May 18, 1953 in Ridgway, she was the daughter of the late George and Dana Eckert Dobson. On November 22, 1974 in Ridgway, she married Daniel Fred Cobb, Sr. who survives.

A resident of Emporium since 1979, Linda was a former resident of Ridgway, St. Marys, and Pascagoula, Mississippi. She was employed for many years by Sinnemahoning State Park where she held several positions before retiring in 2017 as Administrative Assistant.

Mrs. Cobb was a member of the Cameron County Christian Center in Emporium.

Survivors include: two sons, Joseph Michael Cobb of Springfield, Massachusetts, and Daniel Fred Cobb, Jr. of Emporium; one daughter, Kira Marie Cobb of Emporium; one brother, George Dobson, Jr. of St. Marys; three stepbrothers, Guy Reed of Phoenix, Arizona, Mark Reed of Treasure Lake, and Paul Reed of Philadelphia; one sister, Mary Marie Fix in Michigan; four grandchildren; and also nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25 in the Coppersmith-Condon Funeral Home, Emporium where Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Sherri Pifer of St. Marys, an affiliate of the Free Methodist denomination, officiating. 

Burial will be in Newton Cemetery, Emporium.
