Meet Amy Thwing, with Handmade by AMY, another new vendor joining us at the market this weekend!
For the past five years, Amy has been creating cozy, handcrafted blankets using soft jumbo yarn — all inspired by her seven grandchildren! What started as a thoughtful way to make meaningful gifts has grown into a full-on creative passion. To date, Amy has made over 400 blankets, many of which she’s given as gifts or donated to fundraisers in the community.
Her cozy blankets come in three thoughtful sizes to suit every need:

- Baby-sized for the littlest loved ones in your life
And that’s not all — Amy’s creativity doesn’t stop at blankets. She also makes large, huggable stuffed animal toys that are perfect for kids (or kids at heart), plush, comfy pillows that add a handmade touch to any space, and adorable basket-style pet beds that your furry companions will love.
Each item is crafted with the same care and attention as her blankets, using soft, high-quality materials that are both machine washable and built to last.
