Controlled Burn Scheduled in Lumber Township 4.24.25

 

Elk State Forest 

The staff of the Elk State Forest will be conducting a prescribed fire on 55 acres of forest land in Lumber Township, Cameron County today. The goal of this prescribed fire is to control the interfering plant species and allow oak seedlings to be more competitive.
