In search of volunteers for the A Christmas Time - Emporium, PA events going on for the month of December, leading up to Christmas.
Specifically, I would like to host a small indoor petting zoo for one or two days inside Sarah Jane's Art Studio. The theme this year is wilderness and woodland (or barnyard) creatures in a winter wonderland in the wilds.
If you have a friendly animal that would be great with children, and would like to donate your time, I would be so grateful! There are so many children who do not have the ability to snuggle animals, and I just want to make this Christmas extra special!
I’m thinking bunnies, puppies, kittens, really any animal that is unique and wonderful with children.
Even certain reptiles would be fun! Let me know your thoughts, recommendations and ideas please!
Keep in mind, this venue is free to the public.
So again, this is a volunteer opportunity.
