Gotta Catch 'Em All:
Pokémon Party Comes to Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial Library!
Prepare for a Poké-tastic adventure at the Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial
Library!
On August 9th, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the library will transform into a Pokémon
Trainer's paradise, welcoming youth ages 6 to 16 from across the area for a thrilling Pokémon
Party.
Attendees will have the chance to unleash their creativity by crafting their very own DIY Poké
Balls. But that's not all - bring your prized Pokémon card collection for a lively trading swap with
fellow trainers. It's the perfect opportunity to score that elusive card you've been seeking! Staff
will also make Pokémon cards available for those without their own collection, so everyone will
have a chance to trade.
"We're excited to bring the Pokémon community together for an afternoon of fun and
creativity," said Matthew Nolder, Library Clerk and program organizer at Barbara Moscato
Brown Memorial Library. "This event is a great way for kids to make new friends, share their
love for Pokémon, and engage in some hands-on activities."
To cap off the festivities, participants will engage in a Pokémon-themed activity that guarantees
fun for everyone involved. Whether you're a seasoned Pokémon Master or just starting your
journey, there's something for everyone at this FREE event.
Space is limited, so be sure to register early to secure your spot. Registration is required and
can be completed online at www.barbaramoscatobrownlibrary.org/libraryprograms, the
Facebook event page, or by calling the library at 814-486-8011. Don't miss out on this
