Celebration of Life for Shawnarae Callahan 

 This will be a celebration of Shawnarae's life. Please come join family and friends to remember Shawnarae. Hamburgers, hot dogs and sloppy joes will be provided. Also, pop, water, coffee, beer and chips. Please let us know if you would like attend. If you would like to bring a dish to pass, please let us know what you will bring when you RSVP. This is so we do not have too many of the same dish. 
All friends and family are welcome. Please feel free to spread the word. 
This will be held Sunday, July 21, 1pm-5pm at the Bucktail Rod & Gun Club, 523 Sizer Run Road, Emporium, PA. 15834

Shawnarea Callahan, 53, of Emporium, PA passed away at her residence, Emporium, PA on Tuesday morning (June 4, 2024) following a brief illness. She was born September 16, 1970 in Ridgway, PA a daughter of the late Daniel and Lillian Smith Zimmer and John Erskine. On October 14, 1995 in First United Methodist Church, Emporium, PA she married Thomas Callahan, who survives. 
 Shawnarae graduated from Cameron County High School. She was the former executive director of the Cameron County Chamber of Commerce. She loved hunting and fishing and was active in many high school sports as well as adult recreational sports. She loved spending time with her family and friends. 

 In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Jakeb Callahan (Emilie), Emporium; grandson, Sheamus Callahan; five brothers, Leonard Smith (Michelle), Florida; Ricky Jo Smith (Helen), Erie; John Smith (Kim), Austin; John D. Erskine, Emporium; Harry Erskine, Emporium; sister, Susan Lyon (Scott), Emporium and a sister-in-law, Mary Smith, Brockway; two step-sisters, Lisa Zimmer and Lori Buck, both of Emporium. 

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Lillian Zimmer; father, John Erskine; two brothers, Brett and David Edward Smith. 

 There will be No Visitation. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be announced at a later date.
  In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to assist the family with final expenses by mailing donations to Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. 4th St., Emporium, PA 15834 or may be placed online on Barnett Funeral Home website.
