Environmental Education Programs for the weekend of June 1 st
Program Title: Trail Talk
Date: Saturday, June 1 st
Time: 3:00 – 4:30 PM
Location: Environmental Learning Center
Description: It’s National Trails Day! Stop by the ELC and talk with the park
educator about all the trails Sizerville State Park has to offer. Short talk followed
by a short hike on one of the trails. Feel free to bring a water bottle and hiking
shoes are encouraged

Program Title: Let’s Talk Elk:
Guest Speaker – Jeremy Banfield
Date: Saturday, June 1 st
Time: 8:00 – 9:00 PM
Location: Campground Amphitheater
Description: Join PA Game Commission Elk Biologist, Jeremy Banfield, for a
presentation on elk information, research, and management. Presentation will be
around 30-45 minutes, and then Jeremy will take questions for the remainder of
the program. Feel free to bring snacks and a blanket!

Additional Information:
In case of thunder, lightning, or extreme weather conditions programs may be moved or
cancelled.

are available for educational programs.
