Duke Low Military Operations Area Project Abandoned

 DUKE LOW MILITARY OPERATIONS AREA PROJECT ABANDONED! 

The Maryland Air National Guard will no longer be pursuing the establishment of the Duke Low Military Operations Area (MOA). 

 Had this MOA been implemented the heart of the PA Wilds would have seen military aircraft training up to 170 days/year, 2 hours a day, and as low as 100’ above the ground. 

 This is great news for the Sinnemahoning Watershed and all that live, work, and play here!
