This week's guest speakers are Father Paul Siebert and Dave Malize of the Cameron County Food Bank.
Started in 1989, the Food Bank still operates today and currently has 350 families registered. They not only provide food boxes to the Maple Street Apartments, Emporium Arms (high rise) on Fourth Street and the Driftwood Senior Center, but also distributed 180 boxes in January, 215 in December and 217 boxes in November. Volunteers that help with the distribution come from churches, organizations and students from high school.
