In Loving Memory of Cathey Louise Beldin
Cathey Louise Beldin, passed away peacefully in December of 2023, in Darlington, PA. She was born in August of 1953, in Punxsutawney, PA to the late Delores and John Fuller.
A proud native of Punxsutawney, Cathey spent her life in Emporium, PA, where she became an integral part of the community. She was a union officer during the majority of her employment at GE Motor Coils. She retired from GE Emporium after decades of dedicated service, leaving behind a commendable professional legacy.
Cathey found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a knack for turning ordinary moments into cherished memories, especially when spending time with friends and family, most importantly, her grandchildren.
Known for her quick wit with a dark twist, Cathey had a unique sense of humor that left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Her humor reflected her lively spirit and ability to find joy in every situation.
Cathey was more than just laughter; she was a hardworking, loyal, honest, empathetic, and proud individual. Her dedication to helping others made her a beloved figure among friends and neighbors.
Cathey is survived by her loving husband, Vernon (Joe) Beldin and her three devoted children: Christine Clark of Camp Verde, AZ, Michael Reams of Darlington, PA, and Dannielle Mason of Driftwood, PA. She leaves behind a cherished legacy through her six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Cathey’s brother, Jim Fuller of Fort Wayne, IN, also mourns her passing.
In honor of Cathey’s memory, a celebration of her life will take place on April 6, the location is to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Cameron County PA SPCA, reflecting Cathey’s love of animals and commitment to helping others.
May Cathey Louise Beldin rest in eternal peace, her spirit forever alive in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
