Super Weekend Kicks Off Friday, August 25th in Emporium, PA.

The wait is finally over for the return of Cameron County’s Annual Super Weekend!

This year's event has grown to a three-day, county-wide affair where residents and visitors alike can enjoy vendor fairs, games and competitions, kids' activities, local sales, and live music.

Join us Friday, Aug. 25th on North Broad Street in Emporium.

 The Super Weekend Cornhole Competition, registrations at the Emporium Fire Hall at 5 pm, and bags fly at 5:30. Grab dinner from a local restaurant or check out Anytime Lunch, who will be onsite, as we close N. Broad Street in Emporium for Six Pak to play 6-10 PM. If art is more your thing, register for the Sarah Jane's Art Studio & Embassy Powdered Metals Window Art Competition starting at 3 pm at Sarah Jane's Art Studio, supplies provided, and business windows assigned on a first come basis (public judging conducted on Saturday) Window Painting from 3-7PM.

Saturday, August 26th will bring a full day of fun!

 Start off with the Cameron County Farmer's Market on Emporium’s Chestnut Street at 9 am followed by 40 + vendors filling the Emporium Business District 11 am – 4 pm. You'll find something for everyone from raffles and giveaways to artisans and baked. Check out the dough bowl center piece and crafting bars or local rummage sales. Food Trucks and concessions will be in town all day, in addition to special menus and sales at local restaurants.

Kids activities can be found 1-4 pm in Kids Central on Chestnut Street with CCOYA, Cam Co Recreation, Dickinson Center, Head Start, ADAS, Guidance Center, & CAPSEA for bubbles, slushies, cotton candy, crafts, cookie decorating, games, and giveaways!

Activities include Smoker’s Insane Terrain Park Blindfolded Back Seat Driver Race & RC Paintball Competition on Cherry St., the Community Clubs & C&N Bank Sponsored Rock Wall from 1 -5 pm in Town Center, Straub Insurance Agency Anything Race at 2: 30pm on Greenwood St., Emporium Vol. Fire Dept. Battle of the Barrel 3-5 pm on N. Broad St., & Bridges Youth Group sponsored Scavenger Hunt 3-5pm starts at Cameron County Chamber of Commerce, and Public judging of the Window Art.

Local musicians will play from noon to 2pm at the Town Center Music Tent with local punk band Phaser taking the stage 4-5 followed by the Colin Alvarez Band from Harrisburg, PA playing 6-10 pm. Parking for this event can be found in the West Creek Rails to Trails Parking lot on Third Street, or the streetside throughout town outside the town center.

Sunday, August 27th will start with a Community Non-Denominational Worship Service hosted by the Cameron County Ministerium in Emporium’s Town Center at 10:30 am

Driftwood PA will have a community picnic and party 11am – 3 pm as Driftwood celebrates Buckie the Bucktail Rock Snake at Driftwood Municipal Park, hosted by the Driftwood Senior Center and Sinnemahoning UMC. Join them for a Free Hot Dog lunch, rock painting, and kids' activities and giveaways from Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services, UPMC Dental, Sinnemahoning Volunteer Ambulance and Fire Departments.

Each year this event gets bigger and bigger and we're so excited for what 2023 will bring!
